Erika has called Texas home for nearly 20 years, where her love for design began early and never stopped growing. After refining her craft along Florida’s iconic Highway 30A, she returned to Texas with a fresh perspective and timeless style. Her work, featured in Architectural Digest, reflects a balance of luxury and warmth through inviting textures and layered neutrals.
She believes great design should reflect who you are and how you live. Erika’s approach brings comfort, beauty, and ease to every space she creates.
“With a passion for helping my community enjoy their outdoor living space, I went to LSU to receive a bachelor’s degree in Science Business Administration. Through observation and talking to residents of the Houston area, it was evident that there was a strong need for high-quality outdoor lighting, mosquito control and synthetic turf. I began extensive training to become the best in the business for my clients. Along the journey, I recruited knowledgeable experts in the field to ensure that Unique Outdoor could provide long-lasting solutions that give our clients the freedom to enjoy their outdoor space.”

Unique Outdoor is Unique Indoor’s parent company. For 20+ years, Unique Outdoor has served the greater Houston area with specialties in mosquito control systems, outdoor landscape lighting and synthetic turf.
The company’s President, Mark Fontenot, founded the company in 1999 with the mission to give Houston residents the freedom to enjoy their outdoor space at night.
Now, with the addition of Unique Indoor services, Mark and Lyndsey will not only make their customers’ backyards beautiful, but also patio spaces and interiors.
